Benefits of Health Coach Guidance

I work with you to help achieve health-related goals and change your life by providing guidance and accountability. I work with you to improve relationships, start new careers, meet fitness and wellness goals, and help reduce stress and anxiety.

Primary Food: One of the core concepts of my education while attending The Institute for Integrative Nutrition focused on the areas of life that impact your short-term and long-term health. Relationships, career, and physical activity impact your stress levels, short and long-term health, and overall well-being just as much as food. When these areas are balanced, the food on your plate becomes secondary! Therefore, a Health Coach looks at wellness beyond what is on your plate.

I work with you one-on-one or in group settings, in person or virtually. Health coaching complements services provided by more traditional wellness professionals, like nutritionists, dietitians, physicians, therapists, and personal trainers. The goal is to act as a support system, provide accountability, and work with you to curate a personalized blueprint for success, keeping holistic health in mind.

Responsibilities of a Health Coach
My responsibilities as a Health Coach vary daily depending on your goals. According to the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (the organization that established standards of education and practice for health and wellness coaches), Health Coaches work with clients who are "seeking self-directed, lasting changes aligned with their values, which promote health and wellness."

As a Health Coach, I have learned how best to facilitate positive behavior change and will work with you to make sustainable shifts in your life by:

  • Meeting online or in person individually or in a group to discuss and set achievable short- and long-term goals.
  • Providing a safe, supportive space to explore your goals and intentions.
  • Empowering you to take their health into your own hands.
  • Helping you understand your motivations and create behavior changes.
  • Supporting you in developing sustainable meal, exercise, or other wellness plans tailored to your goals.
  • Encouraging mindfulness in all aspects of your life.

I have:

A desire to continually educate and explore best practices
Experience working with the general population and a desire to help others
